OTHER NEWS:
Nick has been missing the old gigs with Mood Ring featuring; Robbie Dupree, Larry and Lance Hoppen of Orleans, and Tom and Anne Nicholson of Joe Cocker fame. Here is a snapshot from our gig at The Colony in Woodstock, NY.

Here are some pictures of the crazy kit Nick uses to flush out unruly and abstract rhythms.

Check out new Jungle Drums…
head for Nick before-see here…

Gigs with Renaldo The, Psycho The Clown, and Aldo Perez ended this year but Aldo still gigs at The Living Room in NYC. This show is not to be missed!! Aldo is certifiable and is proud to demonstrate it.

EMERGENCY CD

So you've made the decision
To be responsible for the feelings you have
And still you hear phones ringing your number
And letters calling your name
From this far away love who's lost her name
With a little less of you and a little more of myself,
I might find a happiness I know hides inside these dark halls
Where stories never told are the sounds of
A dream I've had over and over again
What's lying there between us is
Is this huge ugly space
So this is what I do...

EVERYTHING

I kissed your photograph today
I feel like it's once too much
I think I must be falling down

I had this little dream
About a boy who could sing a song
Hope you can hear me now

Boy's got everything but the girl
He wants to have it all in this world

I could walk my father's steps
And a soul would never know
But his shadow is no longer hiding me

I'm sorry to break you down so bad
I needed to start over again
I wish I wanted to let go

Boy's got everything but the girl
He wants to have it all in this world
Boy's got everything but the girl
He wants to have it all in this world
Getting tired of pining away
Boy's got everything in this world
I wish you'd realize it's time to play

When I'm old
And rarely seen
I'll feel so tired
Not to be done
What can't be cured
Is sure to be
A tribute
to this life of yours

this is an emergency...

Boy's got everything but the girl
He wants to have it all in this world
Boy's got everything but the girl
Boy's got everything in this world

Boy's got everything but the girl
Getting tired of pining away
Boy's got everything in this world
I wish you'd realize it...wish you'd realize it
Boy's got everything but the girl
Boy's got everything in this world

COME WITH ME

How tall you stand
With the wind in your face
This is sure
You are quick on your feet

Blowing toward your heart
You've watched it build for years
From time to time
You let the tears touch your cheeks

Open your eyes now
Come with me
Pick a highway
You want to see
And we'll drive to the place
You know you can be
With me

Open your eyes now
Come with me
Pick a highway
You want to see
And we'll drive to the place
You know you can be
With me

And one day
Your heart will be showing
Beautiful
The fact is I know it
And I 've been showing you
What I see in you
And I say
You are gorgeous
In every sense of the word
The rejection you seek
Is so undeserved
And the suffering you bare
When you sleep at night
Is the loss of love
Unknown in daylight

Open your eyes now
Come with me
Pick a highway
You want to see
And we'll drive to the place
You know you can be
With me

Turn around...

Open your eyes now
Come with me
Pick a highway
You want to see
And we'll drive to the place
You know you can be
With me

Turn around...turn around

WAYFARING STRANGER
(anonymous/traditional)

I am a poor
Wayfaring stranger
Wondering through
This world of woe
Yet there's no sorrow,
Toil, or danger
In that bright world
To which I go

I know dark clouds
Will gather round me
I know my way
Is rough and steep
But golden fields
Lie out before me
Where men redeem
Their vigils keep

I'm going home
To see my mother
She said she'd meet me
When I come
I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going...I'm going home

I'm going home
To see my father
I'm going there
No more to roam
I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going
Over Home

Nick Parker - lead vocals, background vocals,
percussion, radio.
Harvey Jones - mellotron, synthesizer,

ABC (OCD)

A body can't deny
Everything for good
How ingenious jokes
Kill love more nights
Over pale queasiness
Restful sleep takes us
Very warriors
Xanadu-ing yonder
Zealously

abcdefg - now look what you've done to me
12345678 - nine times out of ten too late
abcdefg - now see what you've done to me
12345678 - nine times out of ten too late

A boy's coming down
Every favor's gone
How I've jumped kings
Like mother nature
Our painted queenv Rising skyward to unveil
What excited you, excited you
Very warriors, xanadu-ing yonder
Zealously...Zealously...

abcdefg - now look what you've done to me
12345678 - nine times out of ten too late
abcdefg - now look what you've done to me

abcdefg - now look what you've done to me
12345678 - nine times out of ten too late
abcdefg - now look what you've done to me
This is waht I do...
players:

PAIN

The number lies here on the floor
The call I promised not to make
I know this property is condemned
I have to find a place to hide

Gonna get high tonight
With the man I cannot be
Like a prisoner
Seems like all the time
I can't let you see

Because it always starts the same
The truth there lying on the floor
Consider a fool who cares no more
Time to leave this wretched place

I say goodbye tonight
To the man I cannot be
Like a prisoner
I set myself free tonight
I can't let you see

I don't want to let you
See this pain tonight
I'm not gonna show this...

Pain
I don't want to show this
Pain

I'm not gonna let you see this pain tonight...

I'll try not to leave a mess
Of this life I leave behind
No common sense denied
No happy end in sight

Pain
I don't want to show this
Pain
I don't want to show this, I don't let you see this
Pain
I can't live in
Pain

players:
Nick Parker - lead vocals, background vocals,
percussion.
Jon Ossman - bass.
Tom Camp - pedal steel guitar.
Harvey Jones - keyboards.

THE LAST SONG

Fear of losing you
From the first time
I met you

Fear of losing the only love
I'd ever know

Afraid a circumstance
Would take you away from me
Like everything else
Just goes away

Not a choice to be had
Just quiet subtraction
Be sure you will take
What little love
I had

I'm ashamed and embarrassed
To let this get the best of me
To let my fears run wild
Inside my head
From the moment
You're not with me
Anymore
You're not with me
Anymore

players:
Nick Parker - lead vocals, background vocals,
percussion.
Diana Penz - violin.
Harvey Jones - piano, synthesizer, short wave.
